2011 Wishbones for Pets Charity Drive to be locally hosted by Critter Sitters LLC
Critter Sitters LLC, of Ravenswood will be the local pet sitter representative for the 2011 Wishbones for Pets charity drive.
Wishbones for Pets, a charitable organization benefiting pets in need, is hosted by pet sitters throughout North America. The program runs from October 15 through November 30 and during this time, Critter Sitters LLC will be collecting pet items on behalf of the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association Animal Shelter. Items such as blankets, toys, leashes, collars, pet food, and monetary donations will be collected, with 100% of the items going to the Kanawha-Charleston Animal Shelter at the conclusion of the program.

Says Kim Walton of Critter Sitters:"I'm excited to be involved with the Wishbones for Pets program. It's another way for me to make a difference in the lives of homeless pets and help the Kanawha-Charleston Animal Shelter at the same time. I was recently appointed to be the WV Regional Director of Wishbones for Pets. If there are any other pet sitters in the Kanawha Valley who would be interested in helping with this fundraiser, I ask them to please contact me immediately."
Kanawha Valley businesses are needed to serve as donation drop-off locations for pet supplies. Critter Sitters LLC will provide donation boxes or barrels for participating businesses, and the name of each business will appear on all advertising and promotional items related to the Wishbones for Pets program.

All monetary donations are to be made out to the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Assoc Animal Shelter, and mailed to:c/o Kim Walton, PO Box 95, Ravenswood, WV 26101. At the end of the fundraiser, these will be delivered to the animal shelter along with all the donated pet goods.

About Wishbones for Pets: Wishbones for Pets was started in 2004 by Janet Depathy, a professional pet sitter in Plymouth, MA. It is the first pet sitter related charity open to all professional pet sitters in North America, and runs annually from mid-October through the week after Thanksgiving.
